And I just turned around and I call ass out of there. I was done. I wasn't deal with them. The hypocrisy of the cult is one of the things that turned me. Away the quickest. When I turned my head lights on, it turned and looked at us. And one of the things I remember the most, where the eyes were going red. I see an orb of light. It is just circling these steps. Like it is waiting for me. And he begins to tell them that he saw a UFO. They're basically like, what are you talking about. That's seven foot up on a tree, peeking around it, and that's where I saw. The top of the muzzle, nose and the eyes as soon as I made eye contact with this thing. And don't like death. Welcome back to Tinfoil Tells. Tonight, we were joined by my guest Randy. Randy, thanks for coming on here and talking with me. Thanks for having me. Man. Would you like to let the audience know a little bit about yourself. Well, my name is Randy Hutchings. I am a field investigator or primarily bigfoot sightings in the Middle Tennessee region of Tennessee around the Cumberland Plateau region area. Been doing that since the nineteen nineties started after having an encounter of my own, I got in touch with the BFRO, and the BFRO basically got me started doing the field investigating. I was at the BFRO for a little while before I switched over to another group called the GCBRO. And I've just I've gone through like groups over the years, so many, uh, but I've been doing it for a while now, good, good, long while. When you had your first bigfoot encounter, we can talk about that here in a second. But was bigfoot something that you'd ever thought about beforehand or is that just something that kind of got you into this whole thing. I've always been interested in, uh, cryptids and stuff like that, Lockness monster, things like that as a kid. Uh, I really, I mean I had the I was open to the possibility they existed, but it was more of a you know, the the Pacific Northwest kind of thing. I didn't think they lived in Tennessee, that's for sure. So Tennessee is definitely an awesome place. I was just down there a couple of weeks ago for an actual in Townshend for the Bigfoot festival they had there. Yeah. Nice, just the mountains and everything else. I took my friend and never been down there with me, and I said, if you just look at the area, I could totally see where things could go, like the mountains and everything that's beautiful down there, but just the woods and the mountains and everything else like it. It's like I can totally see something being out there for your first experience or whatever you want to dive into. That we can sure myself and my cousin. There's an old abandoned rock quarry. It lays about three miles outside of the town that we live in, which is back Menville. And for years growing up, you know, as a kid, I'd lay out of school every so often, I'd just go up to the quarry and lay out, hang out. So we've been going up these quarry, this quarry for at least a decade prior to this happening. And this day we went up there. It was late in May, I believe, it was May twenty twenty third, I believe, But this is in nineteen ninety seven. We it takes about an hour to track down this one trail that you have to know where it's at to get to this quarry. It's backed up, it's it's been abandoned since the nineteen seventies, this quarry has been UH. So we take this mild trail to Uh to get to the quarry and we get up there and we put our feet in the water and Uh. It's got like a little box canyon in it's one area, and there's a lake there. And we've been told that this lake had been created from where they had drilled down into a This is like a you know, sixties and seventies where they had tunneled and drilled and dynamited it down into an under ground and the river had basically just come up and and filled this part of the quarry in UH. I found out later on from a local diver that that's actually somewhat true that it did. It's it's rain water mixed with a river that they hit. Uh. But we were at We got up there, put our feet in the water, and it was just relaxing. And we've been there for about five maybe ten minutes at most, not very long at all. And something up the top of these cliffs around this box canyon, we start about sixty to eighty foot in height, depending on where you are in the Box canyon starts vocalizing and it sounds like the only way I can describe it to this day is it sounded like if you took a hall or monkey and you spliced it with an enraged bull. That's kind of what it sounded like, and had this like moo moo sort of sound. My cousin looks at me when this thing starts going off, and I look at him, and we kind of just have this dumb look on our face, and we assume, both of us just naturally assume that it's like some somebody, some redneck or something up on top of this cliff that's messing with us, and so we start making like garbledygook sounds back at it, and it shuts up, and we kind of look at each other and you know, smile, laugh, you know, thinking that we basically like it entertain this guy as much as it entertained us whoever this was up there. And within just about thirty forty five seconds of it going quiet, this boulder I mean I say boulder, I mean it was as big as you know, as big a ground as my torso three hundred pounds at least, goes flying off this cliff and not rolling off the cliff, I mean flying off the cliff like in an arch, like a twenty five foot arts just and then splashes into the water about sixty feet from where we are. We both look at each other and my cousin has this look of just sheer panic on his face. His eyes are huge. Uh, and he goes, what could do that? And and then he said something about you that would have to have thumbs right to be able to throw a boulder like that, and it started vocalizes again while we're kind of standing there perplexed as to what just happened. And it does the more more sound again, and we look at each other and we're intimidated by this point because I don't know how you would throw something that. I'm a big dime six for four. I couldn't possibly throw a rock half that size. You know. I could roll it off maybe, but I couldn't make it arts like that, like twenty five foot straight out like it did. Uh. Yeah, So I came home. Uh, it made us leave. We got intimidated enough that we left. Uh. Came home, talked all my relatives, their hunters, got a lot of hunters my family, and tried to explain to what had happened, and nobody could explain it, and ended up online trying to find answers to it. And about a month after it happened, I came on the BFRO website and there was a vocalization that they had on there at the time. It sounded similar. It wasn't like really like what we heard, but just similar enough that it made me contact them and tell them what it occurred. And that's when they got me hold of a field investigator that came and talked to me, and he was bestally like, oh, yeah, everything you're talking about, you know, with rock throwing and sounded like you know, classic tale of one of them trying to intimidate you to leave the area, which is exactly what happened. I think. Like for me, I don't know what to make about what the sounds and everything else, because sometimes I've heard weird things but come to find out they're like normal animals something like that. Though what you're describing isn't anything normal that I would think of, Like it has a very primate each sounding call to it. Yes, yes, so I was. I've grown up in these hills, man, I've heard all animals you know that you could think of growing up and I had never heard anything like this. I haven't heard anything like it since. I've heard vocalization since then. They're like screams and whoops and hollers, but nothing that ever sounded like that. That moa sound that we heard that day. I've never heard anything like that. I've heard I've heard like a scream noise before, but I thought, honestly was like a fox. You know how they make like fox and make those noises, So that's what I've wrote it off. But almost sound like a like a kid yelling, like a higher pitch scream. But where I live, we have a lot of coyotes and stuff too, so it could have been anything like that. So I don't I don't really talk cut up too much of anything. But I've never been deep enough into the woods where I've ever had anything that stood out to me. I'm not one that goes outdoors that often anyways, like into the woods looking for this type of stuff, So I've never had an experience like that. But I honestly don't know how it'd interpret things if I hear it, because it's something that I want to experience. I know a lot of people say, oh they want it. I'm more of a vid. I want to see something. And I know a lot of people don't, like they don't want to see things, but I'm the type of I want to see something. But yeah, for me, and I'm sure the listeners or whatever like that, visual evidence is like a confirmation like with sounds and stuff, it's whatever. But for me, I have to I got to see it. Oh yeah, yeah, I understand clearly. Like I said, that got me into the whole world of field investigation for all those groups that I ran with, and over the years, you know, I I hadn't seen that. I'd only heard that thing, you know, yelling and seeing the boulder being thrown, and just assumed that that's what it had to be because I didn't know what else it could be. But over the years where I've gone out, I've you know, got to see nests on people's property, footprints, and people's property, saw an apple tree that was just covered in covered in footprints underneath the apple tree where they'd been going to this apple tree and taking apples off of it. But but I hadn't had it assigning myself until twenty eleven. And in twenty eleven, I was actually running a larp if you know what to larp is in Middleton here in Middle Tennessee, and we were used state camp grounds as our event side, and so we had people that come in from California, from Kansas, all over the country would come to these events. We were having a twelve day long event at the time, and this was the fifth day of that event, and we were uh walking down to where that's a river that goes right next to the event side. And it's about one o'clock in the morning. And as we're walking down there to the to the river and we're passing the last cabin there in this this uh campsite that we're at, UH, we hear a snap crack off to the right of us, and we turn thinking that it's gonna be like one of our staff members or something like that, it's like coming with us to go down here to this river late at night, and instead it's this tall harry about seven and a half foot tall. UH had auburn. The color of it reminded me so much of like like ruddy the ruddy auburn of like a bucking heat or when when they're when they're you know in uh oh, like you know their antlers are huge, and they're there's crazy. Uh. And this thing just walking to the side there and stops, turns its top half to look at us, and it looks at us for maybe maybe three seconds, it's not a long and then turns and turns its whole body and just walks into the woodline. And the thing about it was the guy that was with me when this happened. He's six foot five, I'm six foot four. We're both big dudes. But this thing acted like learn how to say it. There was absolutely no no intimidation from a like on our side towards this thing at all. It was just confidence. The way this thing walked. It had no care because it wasn't afraid. Yeah, yeah, how big do you think it was? Well, we went back later and there was a tree that had passed in front of as it was walking that We actually got a measuring tape out and measured how tall it was, and we figured he was somewhere around seven and a half feet tall. We also found prints that next morning on the side and they were seventeen and a half inches where he walked through the grass. There the face. I've heard so many different people talk about how the faces are different looking. Would you describe it more of a primate e like ape face or is it more human looking? I didn't get to That's one thing. I never got to really focus on its face. It was more I guess like when you hear people talk about when they see them, and they all describe like a part of it, with all this detail and the part of the and I think that's because they're they're adrenalines kicking in and they're hyper focusing. And for me, it was the things back when it turned and started to walk away, Like I can remember that, Like every detail of this thing's back and how you could see the bat through the hair. That was one thing. It was not like Chewbacca fur right. You could see the back, you could see it's muscles rippling as this thing walked off. I've often wondered, and this is me being hypothetical, but I feel like if they are more of a human obviously, like with the hair and everything else, you would see more of that humanoid sort of a face. But even with the hair on their bodies and everything, the way they walk and everything else, like they would have the same sort of structure wise, for the most part, of what a human would have, like their muscles and their back and their legs and everything, more so than like what you would a primate. But when people describe these things, they're a lot more muscular than the average person would be. Yeah, this this thing was muscular, but it was I was surprised that it wasn't that good. That's a good way to put it. Uh, it wasn't as thick as like you see, like like Pattie is in the in the Patterson Gamelin footage. Uh, it was leaner. But it was almost as if you take a like the kind of the muscle build of a of an NBA player, and then you packed the muscle of a football player on top of that that NBA player. That's kind of what it look It looked like in a weird way. Yeah, I know what you're meaning. I think, uh again, without physically seeing one, for me, it's all just hypothetical in my brain, but I picture them as being something like I don't want to see, like a missing link. But for some reason, that's what I've always kind of thought they would have been, is like a different offshoot of like where we came, if we came from a revolution or whatever like and this we came from apes. This is like another one of us that just didn't evolve in us, but they kept evolving into what they are. Yeah, yeah, my I had I mean twenty seventeen of a juvenile and what you're talking about that reminds me of that because when I saw that juvenile, I didn't. I was going through Mount Laurel at the time, like pushing my way through this really thick Mount Lawrel, and I pushed some off the side and there was a tree root ball where this tree had fallen, and this root ball was kind of facing me and it was about it was probably about fifteen feet twenty feet away from me the root ball was and this I saw this black hole in the side of this root ball, and I immediately thought it's a coyote den because they loved coyoties, loved to din and stuff like that under stuff like that. And I'm thinking, oh god, it's this is in June when this happened, So I'm thinking it's also a coyote season. You were our cup season where they've got pups, and I'm about, you know, I'm probably about to have kyogies come out as den and like tear me up. And as I'm hyper focusing on this this hole, it moved, And when it moved, I could see that it was not a hole. It was just this jet black what looked like dude, I swear it looked like a black, jet black haired child, but the hair was all over its body and it did. If you've ever i don't know if you have kids, or you've ever been around kids where they've been putting time out, say like a couch, and a kid will like push up against the couch like their back and sink into it and put their arms over their third chest. This is exactly what this thing was doing up against that root. Bol was was pushing up against just like with its arms up against its chest and its head tucked down on the top its chest. I don't know why, to this day, I still don't know while my brain was seeing a whole other than it's just it was so jet black that like it just my brain was just immediately filling in the blanks and being like, Okay, well, I guess that's a hole or what. But when I saw that, it struck me so badly that it was a child and not a monkey or an eight, and they did, like to the degree to what you're talking about, where I really do wonder if these things are real, like hominids of some sort and a lot closer related to us than we think they are. It would explain a lot about the intelligence of how they've been able to avoid detection. And with me, well got out through the tenfoil hat on here without being in foil tales. But I feel like if something like this exists, I believe that someone knows about it, and maybe because of certain regulations and hallow it uproots stuff, we just don't talk about it because it'd be like an endangered species. Yeah. So yeah, but this is. Where I struggle with because then you have these tribes down in like that have never been around like civilization like today, like modernized, and they have them protected. We're not supposed to go in there and bother them this and that. I forget what it's called, but it's over I think it's over by India or whatever. They're the country that's around one of these islands that people they claim that they've never been influence from outside sources. When people go there, the tribes are cannibals. Yeah, So I feel like if we know about stuff like that, then why would we not talk about these things unless that's again part of the reason why they don't want to talk about them, because they're not necessarily human, like the natives are from these islands, but they're close enough to humans that they would cause a lot of regulations and laws and other things, and people would be afraid to go outside at that point because they don't know if there's some big humanoid out in their house in the woods. Yeah. Yeah, I actually had a park ranger here in Tennessee tell me he had an encounter when he was young, when he was sixteen, so that he shared with me, and he talked about that, like, how would you exactly go out of your way as the government to come out and say these things exist when you might be having to admit that, like, yeah, these things are a human cousin species that historically are sometimes known to take children or take women, or you know, if you go with some of some of the old Native American tales, how do you explain that to the people that, oh, and they're also living on your back forty and you can't do anything about it. Exactly. There's been other humanoids that have lived like there is any Neanderthals, and there was like a I can't think of what the. Other one was Dennis Ovins. Yeah, and if we know those from the fossil records, and even like with DNA analysis or whatever, who's to say there wasn't something else that wasn't another hometed type species that was also around here and the other ones got killed off. Maybe they're just a smaller group of these things still around here. Yeah, Yeah, I think yeah, I think you're right. I think that's close to what it could be. Going on a lot of people that I've talked to on this show, and there's some diehard or flesh and blood, and there's other ones. I think there's something else about it. Where do you line up with that? I think based off we found in certain areas of our main research area over in Van Buren County. Let to see, we found so much, so many footprints, uh, so many you want to call them, you know, artifacts of bigfoot artifacts, you know, like tree bends and stuff like that, in the same area where we find the footprints and stuff like that, that we're fairly fairly confident that they're living in that area full time. They're not moving around very often based off some of the stuff the rangers have told us too, And I feel like they're I feel I'm kind of in this place where like I feel like they're flesh and blood, because I mean, why else would you find a scat? Why else would you find footprints all over the place. You know, ghosts don't usually lead ealy footprints, Fantoms don't leave footprints, you know, generally. But I wonder if these things are like, you know, like we were saying that these things are somehow related to us as a human subspecies, or not subspecies, but a human cousin species. What would that mean they would be capable of that We're not anymore. There's you know, I'm sure you've done tons of episodes on you know, the CIA developing you know, the what was that program they were developing where the uh uh you actually traveled and all that stuffy m k ul True, Yeah, it was okay, crazy stuff like that. Like if we know the government knows stuff like that exists and they actually actively uh seems like at least study them, uh from you know, all the all the the stories we're we're here about it, what would bigfoot be capable of if they live out there all the time in this feral state, and but they're capable of saying things that like Yogi's uh you know, are capable of, you know in the Vedic traditions of of like you know, being able to to uh supposedly become invisible. I don't know. I guess I'm on the Blessing Blood with potential supernatural abilities spectrum. There's a lot of weird instances that happen when people report Bigfoot. A lot of times I've heard people talk about how they just vanish. You follow tracks and all of a sudden the tracks are gone, and then people will report seeing strange lights or orbs or whatever. And then I've heard people talk about seeing UFOs and the next thing they know, they hear something in the woods and they've seen a bigfoot. So I don't know how any of that connects. I've talked to people that actually wrote books of how the UFO and the bigfoot connections are, and again, everyone has great theories and stuff, but there's really no proof because we don't even have proof to bigfoot scientifically, as like mainstream science has never come out. So they exist. They don't say that aliens exist. They don't say ghosts, you know what I mean. So, yeah, yeah, it's all opinions and speculation at this point. But there's a lot of weird stuff that goes on with Bigfoot that just doesn't seem to add up to always just be a flesh and blood and I lean more towards flesh and blood because that is how I've always been thinking. But once I started doing this show and I've started talking with other people, when you hear the experiences people's had, and you've heard other things that have happened, like, it really does make you think that there's something else to it. Yeah, yeah, there's there's there's definitely a lot of of of weird stuff going on when it comes to a lot of this phenomenon am. I talked to someone recently and they've had little pebbles brought into their house. They've had strange activity on their property, but they've had stuff stacked, like little stones stacked inside their house. How would that happen? You know what I mean? It almost sounds like supernatural to an extent, like this thing somehow come into your house and stacked rocks in the middle of. Your Yeah, yeah, that's that's crazy. That's wild, Like there's no way for something to come in. They didn't have like there was no trace of anything in there, but they found these little pebbles in their floor. And there's been other instances where I've talked to people and they've had like different things and they claim. Even the guy Les Stroud, the Survivor Man or whatever that actually did some stuff for bigfor or whatever, I've heard him talk before about hearing this thing talking to him in his head. Of all people, I didn't expect Les Stroud to come out and talk about mind speak, but there he was talking about. So yeah, right, it's strange, Like I don't know how to again, if they're a human, like a form of a offshoot of a human, do they have the ability to have telepathy? Because I know that again you mentioned say, hey, that is a lot of the things that they've tried to study is stuff like that. So is that something because they knew this ability existed because they had it experienced by something else. Yeah, exactly. Trying to tap into. And think about how how probably how likely our our version of telepathy is probably so dumb down because of you know, just generations and generations of us just not using it. Ah, and whereas you have, you know these people that you have these things where that would be almost an adaptive trait. If you could have something like that and then you're having to live out in the woods all the time, h being able to communicate across distance with the rest of your family would be just something that I don't know, it's crazy. Yeah, it's while the whole subject matter is crazy. Have you ever had any experiences that kind of led you into that supernatural element for them? Like, have you ever seen any type of orb or anything strange like that. I've not seen an orb myself. I do have a research partner that has seen an orbit in that area. We have a lot of our big footing counter stuff happening I have had. I used to make fun of people when they talked about buying and speak. But I was on two different occasions. This was about forty miles apart. But on one occasion, I was out there with a GoPro on my head and I was in our main research area and I was sitting in this one spot for about thirty minutes just just listening. We should go out there and spend like hours and hours just out there listening wooden knocking and stuff, and I'd bet there's about thirty minutes at this point, and I had this weird, I don't know how to explain it, but like this feeling of turn it off, and it came over me so abruptly of turn it off that I literally just reached up and clicked my GoPro off. And after I did, about what sounded like about twenty yards away, something large started moving towards me. Took about three big steps. You could hear of the steps that it took stops, and I literally talked talked after the woods. I was like, I can't my eyes aren't that great. You can come closer if you want. Nothing happened, nothing responded back, and then I heard three steps back, as if it was taking three steps back the same way to it came. I sat out there for about another twenty minutes or so with my GoPro off, and I finally just reached up and turned it back off. So I don't know what what the point of if if indeed, you know, one of these things was mine speaking to me and telling me to turn it off so you could getting closer to me, to look at me. I don't know, but that's what it seems like happened. Just recently, I was out with a couple of people and I'm working on filming something for like this documentary I'm trying to do locally, and one of the people that I was with, I don't know, this is the first time I've actually like went out and did anything with this person. But as we were walking back from the area that we were in, he said that he heard something tell him eighty feet this direction, and I was like, well, I didn't hear it. I don't know what you're hearing, but I just kept walking it went my own direction. I don't know what to think about stuff like that, just because now if I heard it in my head, then maybe I'd be a little bit more interesting to go like if I actually heard it. But when people say they get feelings and they hear this thing and this, and I was like, man, I'm trying to ain't skeptical. That's my biggest thing is I want to believe. But again, I have to have some sort of groundedness to everything. So I remained skeptical until otherwise. So for me, it's like I didn't hear it. So, and I don't know you very well. Are you just bsing me right now? I don't you know what I mean? I don't know. So we didn't run off into the woods off the beaten path because it's a after midnight. I'm not trying to go get lost in the woods. But so I've got about an hour footage to go through and I kind of skimmed through it and all I've gotten was a lot of bugs. People are oh, orbs, No, they're just bugs. Yeah, yep, yep. No. Basically, uh, what. Was it used to call them? Call them bugs when you caught them on on a camera. Rods rods? Yeah, people call them rods and stuff. But now there have been some instances where it is questionable. But lately people have been calling them fairies because certain grasshoppers jump and it looks like they have little legs hanging down and then you see the wings, so it almost has like a fairy shape. And I'm like, oh, I've caught a ferry on my camera. I was like, or it's like a flying bug with its legs hanging down. So to the technology from today has made it very hard to distinguish things because you have ai screwing too with stuff, and then you have all these cameras picking up things and these night vision things. So that's where the skeptic site of me comes in, because if there's so many cameras, everyone has a phone, all this other stuff goes on, yet we still don't have any clear pictures or evidence or video. The best video that I've ever seen has been Patty and that was back yep, sixty years ago at this rate almost so, why why is it there's so many people having these experiences, so many people coming forward and saying they've seen these things and they've done But every time I get photos sent to or whatever, it's usually so blurry blobsquatch is what it looks like because I don't know what there's I get red circle photos and I don't even know what it's supposed to be other than it looks like a tree stump. Yeah, So. Stuff like that I think does more damage than make stuff more credible. But you can yeah, yeah, this makes everyone looks more. It makes everyone look gullible and stupid. Right, And half the time I don't know if it's people that really believe what they're seeing or they're just doing it because they want to say they do, and they're trying to make it everyone else look stupid. So it's it's a weird thing. But I had a lady, actually, uh that I went to out on a field investigation for that. She was showing me a picture on her cell phone and it was kind of a blob squatch and she was shoot. But the interesting thing about it was she was like, I know this, this picture is not going to prove anything, but she's like, I swear you know. The lead up to the me taking his picture was with me and my friend saw him and she's talking about this one sasquatch that is in this area a lot. Saw him walking the ridge light over there. She points out where the ridgelight is and she's like, and so I took a camera out, and she's like, as soon as I took the camera out, he sat down. So I took a picture and she said, I know, it looks like a stump, and that's exactly what it did look like at a distance stump. She's like, but that's him. But the interesting thing was we had went over about three months prior down the road to the people that owned the property where that ridgelight is. That she's swearing up and down that she's seeing bigfoot walk around the ridge log because they had a facial imprint on one of their windows on their house where something had come in pressed its face seven and a half foot up and had a big thumb print. Thumb was three inches It was just like your normal thumb print, but it was three inches long and was eighteen inches from its from this facial imprint where this thing had pushed in and was looking at where they had just installed a new pool table. And so I always thought that was interesting to her. Blob squats kind of in a weird way actually, like uh, pashed out in a strange fashion. Yeah. I've had people send me something before where I actually can make something out, but it's is it paradolia? Is it because you've told me that there's something there that I'm seeing it and or is there something actually there? Yeah? Yeah, it's We've got a photo of a of another juvenile in the area where we do a lot of our research. We suspected the juvenile, but uh, there's even times when I look at the picture and stuff and I think it might just be paradolia. That's, you know, not what I think I'm looking. At Sometimes I wonder if our brains are just naturally programmed to see faces and stuff anyways, so we basically you interpret it like as a kid used to look up in the clouds and make out shapes and this looks like an elephant, this looks like something else, Like. Oh, yeah, that one looks like Godzilla. Right, So maybe that is part of the reason why we still do that today, subconsciously not even thinking about it. Like we literally just see these things and we're like, oh, there's something there. Yeah. Yeah, possibly there's not actually something there, but our brain is telling us there's something there. I don't know. We've been going on for about forty minutes, and I was going to ask something about you're involved with Tennessee wild Man encryptid con. Yes, you have one coming up this summer. Would you like to talk about it for a little bit and how you've got that started and everything about it. Sure? Uh. The wild Tennessee Wild Made of Crypto Con is happening Saturday, August sixteenth at the Milliner Recreation Center here in mcmonville, Tennessee. And we moved to make Menville last year for the second one. This is our third year this year is we moved back Menville the second year just to be closer to home, and we found a better, better venue for what we were actually wanting to do in the first place. Ah, but we we've we get a pretty good guests. First year we had Ron moorehead from the Sierra Sounds, who's our guest of honor. Last year, m K. Davis was our guest of honor. This year, our guest of honor is our Scott Nelson, kind of the side researcher on the Sierra Sounds if you know what those are. I've had Bron on the show before. Oh nice. Yeah, And we've got a nine other guest speakers I'm sorry, eight of the guest speakers on top of our Scott Nelson this year, ranging from m K. Davis to be there again, Chester Moore Junior, Helbit Holler, who else? Oh man, my brain's going. There's quite a few. Yeah, I've seen who you've had on there. I think I met Jesse and Joe from helbt Holler at the Cryptodcom last year in Kentucky. Nice and they're awesome, Yeah they are. And then there's been quite a few people that I've met here in the last year or two since I started doing these conventions and stuff. But I've got ten different ones that I was doing this year, so I'm sure i'll see some of them all over here again. But that's the one thing that I feel like a lot of shows don't have on is people actually talking about these things. I know a lot of the listeners out there enjoy stuff like this, so if they're in the area. I've always tried to encourage people to talk about their events where where they're going to be at because maybe by that point someone will actually hear it want to come out and meet you and talk to you. It helps everybody out. Oh awesome, I appreciate it. Yeah. What uh out of all the things out there of what got you wanted to do a convention? Well, me and one of my partners that uh started it with me, we kind of saw that there was a lot of people that were starting up conventions that were just doing it. We thought for just you know, uh, well, let's people about it just just doing it for money and weren't doing it for like uh, I don't want to try to sound noble, but I mean I wasn't doing it for the experiencer aspect of it, and that was one thing that well, we we decided that if we ever wanted to take a shot out of doing it on our own, we wanted to do experiencer based and kind of like, uh, put the spotlight on the experiencers themselves and not not like you know, TV personalities and stuff like that. And so we my partner was like, well, why don't we just go ahead and try to our own, and so we just decided to give it a shot. See what, see how pan out? It's been pretty successful for you then the first two Yeah, yeah it is, I said. For some reason, And I never knew this was a thing up until I started this show. But I didn't know stuff like this was like a thing like it. I was so out of the loop, Like I come from doing band stuff, like metal bands and stuff like that, so I never knew that there was like these communities of scrypted interest in like the UFOs. I knew there was like people that were interested in it, but I didn't know they had like festivals and all sorts. Of contentions and stuff. Yeah, this was something all new to me. And I went to a couple last year. I set up a booth and then I had a lot of fun, thought good, got to meet some people. It's always fun to meet people that you've actually have listened to the show. They know who I am, they want to come up. And I've had people want to take a picture of me. I'm like, why do you want a photo with me? That's strange, but it's cool. So I have a lot this year that I'm doing, but I enjoy trying to make sure that people are aware of these things. Like I said a little bit ago, like I didn't know these existed. So I'm sure there's people out there that doesn't know these things existed. So I'm always trying to encourage people to come out, have a good time, talk to people, might make new friends, running too people that you didn't know you have something in common with. Oh yeah, yeah, you'll meet people that have like this last year, we had someone that they came in and they're like, look, I traveled from Chattanooga to come up here just because I wanted to talk to somebody about a siding he had in northern Georgia, and it was just it was one of the weirdest sightings I've ever heard of. What he basically described is as like a giant murder mollusk sort of thing like up in a tree that was big enough to engulf a human jeezh oh and like and he did the whole just This guy was completely serious, and he told us what his job was. He works for a major hospital in Chattanooga. Uh. He he was like, you know, I can't just let you know, be out with this and the you know, open about this because uh, you know, it could hurt my career. But he's like, I wanted, I want to know if you've ever heard of anybody else like this, And we actually managed to find something similar to it that was in a documentary that we sent to him that made him feel a lot better about it. So do you say a mollusk? So basically like is that what like would be inside of a clam? Yeah? Yeah, like a big yeah. Basically I've heard of the octopus man, uh and I've heard of them in like Oklahoma they had like the I forget what it was called, with some kind of hot but I've never heard of a mullusk in a. Tree or yeah, and it was it was thirty feet up in a tree where he encountered this thing. He was hunting. He was about twenty foot up in the tree in a stand hunting at the time, and this large semi transparent mullusk, you know, shaled looking mullusk thing was slithering through the trees and he said, by the way it was moving slowly down that tree, that he was watching it all. He thought that it was trying to like basically get to the ground so we could get over to up his tree. And it freaked him out so bad that he got out of a tree and left the area. Now I'm going to be terrified of the woods for different reasons. I don't know. Like that's a very strange story, and I'd love to hel to talk to that guy. So the other when I went to Tennessee a couple of weeks ago, I was in Kentucky. It was actually at a BUCkies and I was wearing a shirt and the guy it said something of cryptids on it, and there was a random guy that come up to me. He's like, oh, I saw one of those before, and I was like, oh yeah, And it was like the Kentucky. There was the wild Man, the Tennessee wild Man I think was on it or the Kentucky was one of the fair, which one it's a wild man on it? But I said, oh yeah, he said, not that, but he saw something in Ohio. So I asked him what he saw, and he describes basically, it looked like a pig with deer legs, but it didn't have any fur, so it was like fleshy colored, but it didn't have the head of a pig, but the body of a pig, but with like long, skinny deer legs, and it ran across the road. He's like, you ever heard any like that? I was like, no, yeah, I've never heard of a pig deer hybrid looking thing before. But right, I've heard of a dot deer, but that doesn't even sound like a dot deer. Yeah I don't. I was like, I don't even know what that would be. So I guess anyone out there listening, if you've ever seen anything looks like a mix between a pig and a deer, let me know the. Big deer, Yeah, big deer of Ohio. Right, Well, Randy, I don't like cutting them short, but is there anything else you'd like to talk about before we wrap this one up? Nothing I can think of. Well, again, for anyone out there listening, make sure to look into the festival you've got going on. You said that's on August sixteenth. August sixteenth, Yes. And it's located where exactly. Milner Recreation Center in Backmanville, Tennessee. Do they need tickets for that or is it free? Or how do they go about tickets? Are you get You get tickets at the door. If you want the tickets to the door are five bucks. It's fifty dollars. If you want to hear all the speakers for the day, you can also get the tickets on event Bronz. Just look up Tennessee wild Man.
